On Monday 3rd of December, the pupils in the British Section welcomed nine Scottish pupils from Clydeview Academy in Gourock, Scotland who were on a four day trip to the French capital. The Scottish pupils got a taste of life in a French secondary school joining classes in different subjects and eating in the canteen. Before their visit, the pupils had exchanged work to introduce themselves. The Scottish students had sent their Chinese portraits in French and they also sent a photograph to show what their uniform looks like. The French students had written their own versions of the poem “Where I am from” by George Ella Lyon. After a busy day at school, the French and Scottish students went to the Foundation Vuitton together to see the Basquiat exhibition.
